Campus Visit Program

Harris Public Policy welcomes campus visitors on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the winter quarter, from January through mid-March. A campus visit includes:

  • Sitting in on a Harris class
  • Coffee and Keller Center tour with a current student
  • Meeting with a staff member in Admissions

If you are interested in the MS in Computational Analysis and Public Policy (MSCAPP) program, please sign up for a visit on one of the following dates: Jan. 30, Feb. 13, or Feb. 27.

If you are interested in the MA in Public Policy with a Certificate in Research Methods (MACRM) or PhD programs, please sign up for a visit on one of the following dates: Feb. 10 or Feb. 24.

Prospective Evening Master’s Program (EMP) students have the opportunity to experience an EMP course by visiting a class. EMP classes take place at the convenient downtown Chicago Merchandise Mart at 1871 and allow mid-career professionals to get an inside look at our part-time program. Please note that class visits take place in the evening and are facilitated by current EMP students. Space is extremely limited for EMP class visits and are reserved for prospective students who have started an application and have already attended an EMP information session, EMP webinar, or .

Campus Tours

The University of Chicago offers campus tours for prospective graduate students daily, Monday through Friday. Tours, organized by the Office of Enrollment and Student Advancement, leave from Rosenwald Hall on campus at 1101 East 58th Street and last approximately one hour. Walk-ins are welcome, but advance registration is recommended.
