Where Can I Live?

On Campus

The University owns and manages over across Hyde Park. These units are conveniently located within walking distance of campus, near public transportation, and offer a variety of restaurants, retail shops, schools, playgrounds, and more.

Hyde Park and Beyond

The majority of Harris students live in Hyde Park, but options exist throughout the city.

Most of our students choose to live in Hyde Park体育盘口_足球比分网 on the southwest shore of Lake Michigan. Anchored by the University of Chicago, Hyde Park residents have a tradition of speaking out, breaking barriers, and changing the world.

During the spring and summer, UChicagoGRAD offers a series of online webinars designed to introduce students to the neighborhoods around campus and provide an overview of the apartment-search process.

How Do I Get Around Town?

体育盘口_足球比分网Chicago offers a variety of ways to get you where you want to go, including:

  • UGo Daytime Shuttles: A free daytime shuttle service around campus and portions of the neighboring communities.
  • UGo NightRide Shuttles: A nighttime shuttle service that travels throughout the campus as well as the Hyde Park neighborhood.

The University also has its own that offer convenient options for getting around campus.

How Can I Find Out More Information?
